STORY
Thomas was introduced to horses at a very young age and was raised with them. He was raised with draft horses, doing everything with them from riding, driving, to farming and showing in 4-H.
In 2006 he met Annalee who had a love for the show pen, taking him to several shows with her. After they got married, they trained horses together and dove into the reining world.
Thomas has worked hard at developing a successful program and gaining knowledge from many. He has been successful in the show pen in futurities and derbies. His non pros and youth riders have also seen successes in the pen. Thomas focuses a lot with his non pros on setting and reaching their goals. He is a gifted instructor and thrives on seeing his students’ progress with their horses. Thomas has a natural hand with the young horses and truly enjoys being able to see them develop and progress into show horses as they enter the futurities.
Thomas and Annalee feel blessed to be able to operate their business as a family. They focus on keeping their program a fun welcoming environment for all levels and age.

Vanessa Robison - ASSISTANT TRAINER
Growing up immersed in her family's farm life in Nevada, Vanessa always had a passion for horses and would take every chance to ride her grandpa's horses. After starting a colt with her dad, she knew she wanted to pursue training. She always knew she wanted to work with horses and made that a goal, which eventually led her to Brighton Performance Horses. Here, she dove into learning and everything technical about performance horses, deciding she loved teaching a horse how to use its body in an athletic way. Now an assistant trainer, Vanessa has a natural ability with horses and is committed to progressing, which shows through her hard work and attention to detail.

Kautlyn Duffin - LESSON INSTRUCTOR
Kaytlyn's passion for horses started at a young age, and at just 10 years old she began taking lessons with Brighton Performance Horses. After a fews years of riding and developing her skills, she was able to get a 4 year old prospective reining horse. With the guidance of Brighton's Kaytlyn has shown in reining for the past seven years.
She now continues her love for the sport with her new reining horse, Smarty. Kaytlyn also has a passion and gift for teaching both kids and adults, sharing her knowledge and her genuine love of horses and riding.
