Growing up immersed in her family's farm life in Nevada, Vanessa always had a passion for horses and would take every chance to ride her grandpa's horses. After starting a colt with her dad, she knew she wanted to pursue training. She always knew she wanted to work with horses and made that a goal, which eventually led her to Brighton Performance Horses. Here, she dove into learning and everything technical about performance horses, deciding she loved teaching a horse how to use its body in an athletic way.  Now an assistant trainer, Vanessa has a natural ability with horses and is committed to progressing, which shows through her hard work and attention to detail.
